Remote contract, initial length until 12/31/21, potentially renewable

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team in support of market access, HEOR, and RWE activities
  • Lead the planning and execution of analysis of claims databases, electronic medical records, disease registries, or other epidemiological data sources to enable in coordination with the Market Access, HEOR, and Biometrics teams
  • Review and provide feedback on analytical work conducted internally or third-party service providers related to Market Access, HEOR, and RWE
  • Perform analysis of clinical data in support of market access, HEOR, and RWE
  • Create reports and presentations of results or work in progress
  • Ensure quality and replicability (ie, through appropriate documentation) of deliverables and work performed

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health economics, or related field; PhD preferred
  • At least 8 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience; experience in kidney or rare diseases a plus
  • At least 4 years of experience in late-phase development, Market Access, HEOR, or RWE; regulatory experience is a plus
  • Hands on experience in extracting, organizing, and analyzing data from claims databases, electronic medical records, disease registries, or other epidemiological data sources
  • Extensive experience in SAS and R; experience with other statistical or database software a plus
  • Actual experience in modeling clinical outcomes, risks, prognostic factors, health resource utilization, or comparative effectiveness
  • Ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision, keeping in mind the overarching goals of the project
  • Strong ability to communicate with cross-functional teams to present analysis plans and results through written reports or oral interactions and presentations
